The Ethical and Sustainable Fashion Brands You Are Going to Absolutely Love ♥

It's hard to know where to shop for quality and affordable fashion basics. The abundance of retailers is vast and varied.
Whether you are ethically aware or not - these brands are the best 5 basics brands worth spending money on. The fact they are ethically aware is a damn good reason why they should at least be considered.

Fast Fashion or Slow Fashion

The fashion industry is being torn in two - between fast fashion and slow fashion.
Fast fashion is mass-produced, there is little or no regard for individuals, the environment, design, quality, manufacturing. Ultimately it's about producing garments, accessories and shoes as fast a possible to increase revue margins.
Slow fashion is the counter opposite of this. No person, brand or process is guilt-free, though a conscious decision to choose a better way is a step towards a better future for all.

By choosing to buy slow fashion you are making a difference.

Slow fashion is also called ethical fashion, green fashion, sustainable fashion and eco-fashion. Designs are evergreen, not trended based.
Your money is going to quality design, production, fabrics, dyes, workers conditions and sustainability of well-made fashion essentials.
Your money is better spent and you have fashion hanging in your closet which is made to last.
A smart wardrobe starts by investing in fashion brands you believe in.

Why buy Eco-Fashion Basics?

Eco-Fashion, ethical fashion aka slow fashion changes your fashion focus from seasonal, trend-based purchasing to pieces that last multiple seasons. Slow fashion is manufactured and made better, so lasts longer.
Every time you invest in capsule wardrobe pieces that are kinder and more considerate to the workers and our planet, together we are making a big difference.
Feel good when you buy eco-fashion capsule wardrobe pieces. Celebrate those purchases and enjoy wearing them. Creating an eco-fashion minimalist wardrobe doesn't happen overnight.

Slow-Fashion
How to Build a Minimalist Eco-Fashion Capsule Wardrobe

Slow fashion is a relatively new word, the idea is fashion is not rushed for quick sales but manufactured with care, in fair trade and under fair workplace agreements.
Fabrics, dyes used for manufacturing are aligned with eco-friendly and sustainable regulations. Slow fashion or eco-fashion, intends to create a new path away from some of the damage that fast fashion is creating.
I can't claim I owe a capsule wardrobe only of eco-fashion. I have an increasing pull towards this goal like I mentioned. I am guilty of loving designer fashion, though more high-end designers like Stella McCartney are creating fashion that is ecologically aware.
Building a capsule wardrobe will help you create an eco-wardrobe.
Whether it's a little or a lot we are all consumers at some point.
If you care about fashion and the environment the being mindful and ethnically aware of what you consume is a great starting point.
It's ok to slowly implement stages of ethical consuming into your buying habits, organisation and lifestyle. A little here and there is better than not being mindful at all.
Being brand conscious is buying better.
I hope through sharing this post it helps you feel good and look good ethically without breaking the bank. It's not always possible but as we have discussed being an ethically aware consumer makes a difference.
Please email me if you have any questions and/or would like to connect.
Happy eco-fashion and minimalist organising.
